Nature and environmental reserves
Made up predominantly of natural areas, these reserves contain remnants of forest, tussock and grassland, wetlands and sand dunes – each with significant scenic, historic or environmental values that set them apart.
From the spectacular views atop Bluff Hill to the rich ecology and history of the Estuary Walkway, Invercargill’s nature and environmental reserves offer a spectacular backdrop for wedding photos, school trips and community events.
For more information on the city’s reserves, visit the Invercargill City Council.
